To the North of the Area for Garden City, is current day, Livonia, Plymouth, and Redford (Nankin is no longer in use). To the East of Garden City is Dearborn Heights. To the South-East is the City of Inkster. To the South-West are Westland and Wayne. To the West are areas of Wayne, Westland, and Canton. *The BARKER Log Cabin School, still stands, and is the site of Garden City's Historical Museum. (Cherry Hill and Merriman)
