Northview Cemetery
Wayne County, Michigan
Corners of W Outer Drive and Kensington Street
Dearborn, MI 48125

Situated on the Southside of Kensington Street, between West Outer Drive and Military Avenue, is Northview Cemetery. Established in 1883, the first burial was that of J. C. Brock on December 22, 1883. The Northview Cemetery Association was organized February 19, 1869 by Henry Haigh. It covers 18.5 acres of hilly land and is well maintained. Henry Ford had bodies re-interred here, from land he had purchased for the Ford Motor Company, those of small family farms, with family plots. Gravesites also include those that have been removed and placed here from Russell Street Cemetery, Mason Street Cemetery, Chovin Cemetery, and Big Sloss Cemetery.
