Newburgh Cemetery
Ann Arbor Trial West of Wayne Road
Livonia, Michigan
Wayne County

Newburgh Cemetery is located on Ann Arbor Trail between Wayne Road and Newburgh, in Livonia, Michigan. It's a Michigan Historical site, with remains of at least 4 Revoluntionary War soldiers, and over 50 Civil War veterans, along with many of Livonia's early residents.
The Newburgh Union Cemetery Society was formed in November 1832, however, the burial of Soloman Kingsley in 1827 already existed on this site. The site itself is well maintained, but due to the age of the stones, many have been broken or the engraving has worn off.

This is a partial walk through of the site as well as some burials obtained from the Plymouth Historical Society, SPECIAL thanks to Garry, also submitted information from family members of those buried here. Last update: Aug 2007
