Oakwood Cemetery

Bennington, Shiawassee County, Michigan

This cemetery is located at the northeast corner of M 52 and Bennington Road in Bennington Township, Shiawassee County, Michigan. It is a well kept cemetery, on a small hill with drives entering from both M 52 and Bennington Road. It contains quite a few family plots which are raised and bordered with a cement edgeing and/or walls. We started reading at the north end next to M-52.Reading from north to south, with the first section stopping at the drive.  The rows are numbered from west (front) to east (rear) of the cemetery. In some parts of the older sections the rows are not well defined.
